SOTO NZSo every person in New Zealand has access to a SOT Chiropractor. |
Our programs
Every year we organise a Basic Series, Regional Workshops, AGM, Annual Educational Conference, Advanced Workshops and Certification Exams
SOTO NZ Basic Series The Basic Series is 3 weekends covering the ground level work of Major De Jarnette. This wil give any chiropractor an excellent foundation of how to apply and use SOT successfully. Includes Categories, CMRT and Cranial |
Regional Workshops We accept that SOT can sometimes seem like a lot to learn - so we have set up these hands on learning/teaching workshops so you an have regular access to the SOT community and educators to ask questions, review technique and dust off your blocks. They are held at local chiropractic practices usually for 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday. Keep an eye on Facebook and here for updates on upcoming events. Usually held in the second half of the year after the Basic Series - these DO NOT contribute to your formal SOT hours towards certification. |
Annual General Meeting A legal requirement, but also a great opportunity to have your say on the direction and culture of SOTO NZ. We aim to hold these around March every year - in conjunction with a seminar. |
Annual Educational Conference We invite esteemed SOT educators from around the globe to share their wisdom, stories and educational prowess to somewhere great in NZ. SOT categories is often a pre-requisite but we do try to find speakers that will appeal to all chiropractors regardless of technique. Modules can include Pregancy, Extremities, Childhood development, Neurophysiology of Categories to name a few. |
Advanced Workshops Within SOT teaching there are several recognised Advanced Modules: TMJ, Suturals, Intra-Orals, Advanced CMRT. There are also modules in Craniofacial Development (tongue tie) and Craniodental work, Dural releases |
Certification and Exams SOT holds itself to high standards globally. This post graduate learning is measured by standardised exams for Basic, Advanced and Craniopath levels. More information on Certification levels, requirements and exam formats can be requested from mailto:secretary@soto.nz |
